Jack Crisp would play despite his leaked video scandal and the ongoing investigation.

Brisbane has reinforced its Gabba dominance with a 10-goal streak en route to defeating premiership favourites Collingwood on Thursday night. The Lions were expected to respond after two losses in the opening three rounds and were helped by starring performances from Cam Rayner and Charlie Cameron. It leaves the Lions with an even ledger ahead of a Round 5 clash against North Melbourne, while Collingwood takes on a resurgent St Kilda side.Collingwood star Jack Crisp could be BANNED for two matches over shocking leaked video that allegedly sees him talk about 'having some lines'

Collingwood star Jack Crisp will front the AFL next week after a video circulated on social media with alleged references to illicit drugs. Crisp is set to play in Thursday night's match against Brisbane at the Gabba, a day after the video became public knowledge.

Collingwood said on Wednesday night they had informed the AFL about the video and the league is now investigating as well.. The AFL confirms Collingwood last night alerted the integrity unit of a video that was circulated on social media featuring player Jack Crisp,' the league said in a Thursday statement. The Herald Sun reports the Snapchat images are believed to be several years old and revealed Crisp and his family have been aware of the photos “for some years.. According to The Age, the AFL integrity department is yet to interview Crisp on the matter, having had insufficient time to launch an investigation prior to Thursday night’s game.

Collingwood has already confirmed it’s been in contact with the AFL as the club prepares to launch its own probe into the incident. AFLIU [AFL Integrity Unit] will speak with Crisp in relation to the content next week upon his return from Brisbane. The viral video shows someone scrolling through Snapchat screenshots featuring Crisp's face - and in one instance, a caption referring to having 'some lines'. The identity of the person who wrote the captions has not been confirmed. Another image from the video shows Crisp above a caption reading 'You young girls are my little s**ts. I'll tell you what to do. The Integrity Unit will question the Magpies star about the alleged drug reference  and ask whether he took an illegal substance on the night depicted in the image, according to the Herald Sun.

If Crisp admits to using drugs he would probably be given a strike under the league's illicit substances policy and banned for two matches, which was the penalty handed down to his teammate Jack Ginnivan and ex-Adelaide Crow Brad Crouch when their drug use was exposed. The video that went viral on Wednesday night shows a person scrolling through several screenshots of Snapchats, many clearly showing Crisp's bearded face. Several of the photos appear to show illicit substances. The last two images are explicit and show a man standing, but his face is not visible. There has been no confirmation of who wrote the captions that accompany the images of Crisp, which were not taken recently.

The publication reported that the 29-year-old and his family have known about the images in the video for years, but Collingwood was unaware of them until the news broke on Wednesday. Collingwood star Jack Crisp is expected to play in tonight’s match against Brisbane despite both the Magpies and AFL investigating a leaked video which widely surfaced on social media on Wednesday night. The lewd video appears to show an unidentified person swiping through Snapchat photos of Crisp, who says to an unidentified party: “Come and drink and have some lines. Just have a bit of a party.

But he is facing a potential suspension which could see him miss a Gather Round blockbuster against St Kilda, plus the Anzac Day showdown with Essendon, if found guilty of conduct unbecoming. It means Crisp could face the Lions before facing potential punishment pending the AFL investigation. Teammate Jack Ginnivan was given a two-match suspension when a video of alleged illicit drug use surfaced and Crisp may face the same fate. Should the Magpies decide to pull Crisp from the side for Thursday’s game, their emergencies are Oleg Markov, Tom Wilson, Finn Macrae and Ed Allan, with Markov expected to be named the sub after getting congratulated by teammates at training on Wednesday.

Today show host Karl Stefanovic and ex-Magpies coach Mick Malthouse questioned the timing of the leaking of the video and described it as 'embarrassing' for Crisp on Thursday morning. 'Whoever has shared this - he's got to raise questions about who he's sharing his company with,' Stefanovic said of Crisp. What always gets me is the timing of these things, it always happens just on the eve of a big game,' Malthouse added. Crisp has played an extraordinary 191 consecutive games dating back to round 18, 2014 when he was with the Brisbane Lions.

The 29-year-old was named Collingwood's best and fairest in the past two seasons and has was in the running to replace Scott Pendlebury as captain last year, but missed out to Darcy Moore.  Selected with the 40th overall pick in the 2012 AFL Draft, Crisp has played 203 games in his career and is a currently on a streak of 191 consecutive matches - the highest total of any player currently in the league. So far this season, he averages 23 disposals, 3.3 tackles and 2.3 clearances per game. The games streak is comfortably the most by a current player, well ahead of Melbourne star Christian Petracca (110), and Crisp is equal-seventh on the all-time list. Unbeaten Collingwood play the under-fire Lions in an intriguing clash to start round four.
